With Memorial Day comes Fleet Week. This is when the ports are filled with Navy ships and the city is filled with sailors. I was commenting to Lesley that there are so many sailors in the city, they occupy every bar on every street; even the seedy places no NYer would dare be seen; however, it must be a lot of fun for these guys and gals who probably never would have an opportunity to see this great city had they not been here on assignment.
As for this photo, not sure what they were looking for.
