Since purchasing my first dSLR in 2005, photography has become a passion of mine. I began by photographing architecture and scenes around NYC until I slowly found my niche: photographing people. I photographed NYers during my my lunch break, often visiting various parks and other gathering places. I enjoyed capturing those fleeting moments and interactions (or lack thereof) of my fellow NYers.

In May of 2007, I moved to Toronto and my street photography continued. I found the hustle and bustle of NYC which was so easy to capture was also prevalent on Downtown Toronto streets. It wasn’t long before I moved to Vaughan and my travels downtown became less and less frequent. I needed to shift my focus (pun intended) to keep my passion from burning out. I setup a studio in my home and began photographing my son, my family, friends, and their families. I began photographing friends who were expecting their own children and loved the direction my photography was heading. I was fortunate to photograph a friend’s wedding and felt the photojournalistic style of my photography allowed me to capture those moments often missed by the bride and groom while they are enjoying their magical experience.
